Wednesday

Douglas County sheriff

10:13 a.m. — A caller reported finding a bullet lodged in the roof of a work site, while a neighbor reported shooting in the backyard and is concerned about safety in the 1900 block of Rice Valley Road, Oakland.

10:58 a.m. — A call from child welfare reported an 18-year-old student who said her step-mother knocked her out on Sunday in the 100 block of Frank Street, Glide.

11:44 a.m. — A caller reported his girlfriend beat him up giving him a black eye with some scratches after he accused her of molesting their children in the 2000 block of Roberts Mountain Road in Myrtle Creek.

3:58 p.m. — A caller reported her 45-year-old son refuses to move out and keeps yelling at her, with a verbal disturbance earlier in the 500 block of Shakemill Road, Roseburg.

5:05 p.m. — A female reported her biological father said that if her sister from Washington “doesn’t back down, he will send a couple of friends to beat her up and shave her head” in the 2000 block of Opportunity Lane, Glide.

7:22 p.m. — A caller reported a daughter’s ex-boyfriend drove up the road shooting from a vehicle last night in the 1300 block of Wildcat Road, Camas Valley.

9:16 p.m. — Two male subjects were reported breaking out windows in the 100 block of Pacific Avenue, Glendale.

ACCIDENTS

2:40 a.m. — A white SUV crashed into a tree with unknown injuries at milepost 8 on Highway 38, Reedsport.

7:17 a.m. — A white ford pickup appears to have turned over on milepost 98 of Interstate 5, Canyonville.

ARRESTS

The News-Review publishes the names of individuals who have been arrested on suspicion of at least one felony charge or three misdemeanors or a combination of felony and misdemeanor charges.

Tuesday

Douglas County sheriff

Austin Grant Dalton, 33, of Roseburg, on suspicion of strangulation, fourth-degree assault and second-degree possession of a forged instrument.

Larry Allen Duncan, 60, of Canyonville, on suspicion of second-degree assault.

Jacob Timothy Rondeau, 27, of Roseubrg, on suspicion of methamphetamine and heroin possession, and second-degree theft.

Roseburg police

Matthew Eugene Stammen, 18, of Sutherlin, on suspicion of methamphetamine possession.
