An 80-year-old man told Myrtle Creek police Sunday he blacked out and thought he hit some mailboxes rather than a person as he drove south on South Main Street on Thursday afternoon. Glenn Wesley Meacham turned himself in Sunday after reading an account on the Internet detailing how Myrtle Creek resident Robert M.
