GREEN Woman dies after shooting herself A 54-year-old woman shot and killed herself Tuesday morning at her home in Green, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. A caller notified police dispatchers at 10:29 a.m. that the woman had called and texted four times saying she planned to kill herself. After Douglas County sheriff’s deputies arrived at the home in the 100 block of Santiam Lane, in the River Place manufactured home park, the woman came outside briefly before going back inside.
