Dan and Mary Corum recently celebrated their 60th anniversary with a large gathering of family and friends. The event was hosted by their daughter. Mary Hicks and Dan Corum were married July 20, 1952, in Modesto, Calif. She worked for a walnut company and he was a meat cutter and beer truck driver. The Corums relocated to Oregon in 1970. They bought a ranch in Camas Valley, where they raised horses and grew hay. Their children graduated from school there and Mary worked with the school district for 34 years.
