The Roseburg Road Runners Club is hosting a 10K run or two-mile walk and food drive for the Roseburg Rescue Mission on Nov. 17. The Turkey Trot will start at 9 a.m. at the Roseburg Rescue Mission, 752 S.E. Pine St. in Roseburg. Same day registration begins at 8 a.m. Participants are asked to bring four canned or dry boxed food items, fresh fruit, vegetables or breads for their entry fee. Food is needed for the Roseburg Rescue Mission’s annual Thanksgiving meal served to the homeless and hungry. The 10K is an out-and-back race south along Highway 99 toward Green. …
