ROSEBURG UACT brings back Scrooge The Umpqua Actors Community Theatre is continuing performances of “A Christmas Carol” through Dec. 16. The perennial Charles Dickens favorite follows the story of Ebenezer Scrooge as he is visited by four ghosts on Christmas Eve. The ghosts attempt to show Scrooge, hitherto a grasping businessman, the error of his ways. Weekly performances are at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays through at the Betty Long Unruh Theatre, 1614 W. Harvard Ave., Roseburg. Tickets are $10 per person.
