A young man with an extensive rap sheet was given three years in prison Wednesday for breaking into a Roseburg house and wrestling with the gun-wielding homeowner who was waiting for him. “He’s actually very lucky to be sitting here today,” Douglas County Deputy District Attorney Kathleen Johnson said of Michael Lee Hatton, who was sentenced in Circuit Court for first-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
