SUTHERLIN — A man who helped update the city’s war memorial and a woman active in Rotary were the top honorees Saturday at the annual Sutherlin Citizens of the Year Banquet. Man of the Year Larry Smith and Woman of the Year Judi Black were recognized along with five other award winners at the Umpqua Golf Resort. The Sutherlin Area Chamber of Commerce sponsored the event.
