A 21-year-old man was wrestled to the ground after he struck an officer shortly before midnight Tuesday in the 1400 block of Northeast Stephens Street, Roseburg police said. Shaun Andrew Currin, a transient, was a passenger in a car that was pulled over by police. Currin became upset after the driver was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving and hit an officer in the hand, police said.
