SUTHERLIN — Mazama and Sutherlin didn’t do a good job of stopping each other in the first half, with the Vikings of Klamath Falls taking a 38-37 lead at intermission. But the 10th-ranked Bulldogs clamped down better over the final 16 minutes, outscoring Mazama 48-24 on its way to an 85-62 rout in a Class 4A boys basketball play-in game Friday night at the Dog Pound. Sutherlin (18-7) takes a five-game winning streak into next Friday’s playoff game at home against Madras (15-10), a 70-56 winner over Astoria.
