Roseburg woman accused of using neighbor’s mail to apply for credit

A Roseburg woman was arrested Sunday evening on suspicion of identity theft after police say she tampered with a neighbor’s mail.

Police said Deidre Marie Moline, 34, is suspected of applying for credit under her neighbor’s name. Moline lives next to the victim in the 600 block of Haggerty Street.

The victim had asked a relative of Moline’s to hold her mail while she was on vacation, police said. When the victim returned home, she had several notifications that someone applied for credit under her name.

Moline was arrested without incident at 8 p.m. Sunday. She was in custody today in lieu of $50,000 bail.
