Update: Sunday newspapers will be delivered late due to poor road conditions

Due to the poor road conditions caused by continued ice and snowy weather, News-Review subscribers should expect their Sunday paper to be delivered later than usual.

Some subscribers may not see their papers delivered Sunday because the hazardous road conditions may prevent carriers from reaching your home.

Our carriers will do all they can to get the newspaper to you.

The areas most at risk of not receiving Sunday’s edition are those that are remote and at higher elevations, such as Yoncalla, Elkton, Tiller and Days Creek.

Most locations in Central Douglas County should receive their papers, but please allow extra time for them to arrive.

The News-Review regrets any inconvenience this may cause. Those of you who are seeing this notice online can help out by passing along this information to your neighbors who may not have access to the Internet.

The News-Review Circulation Department will be available to take subscriber calls until 10 a.m. Sunday. The department’s number is 541-957-4244.
