ROSEBURG: Drop off old Christmas trees for free

Roseburg Disposal Co. will provide drop-off boxes for Christmas trees from Dec. 27 to Jan. 10. The service is free.

Decorations should be removed.

There is a $7 charge for trees picked up at home or offices. Trees must be cut into sections 4 feet or shorter.

Boxes will be available at the following locations:

• Legion Field on Stewart Parkway

• Hucrest Elementary School, 1810 N.W. Kline St.

• Corner of Calkins Avenue and Jefferson Street

• Totem Market, 5581 N.E. Stephens St., Winchester

• Sherm’s Thunderbird, 2553 N.W. Stewart Parkway

• Kowloon Restaurant, 2686 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd.

• CarQuest, 450 N.E. Stephens St.

• Former Safeway, 406 S.E. Rose St.

• Corner of Rice Avenue and Southeast Stephens Street

• Redeemer’s Bible Fellowship, 3031 W. Harvard Ave.

• Former Roseburg Auto Center, 2195 N.E. Stephens St.
