Dakota Richard Miller, age 27, of Glide, Oregon, died as the result of a tragic car accident on Friday, February 2, 2018. Dakota was born in Sitka, Alaska, on September 15, 1990, to Diana Parazoo and David Miller.

He is survived by his mom, Diana of Glide; his dad, David of Glide; his brother, Dustin (wife, Ashley); nephew, Ashton; and nieces, Jadeyn and Shaylynn; his grandparents, Mike and Susan Miller of Glide, and Margaret Hunt of Eugene; and his stepsisters, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him so very much.

Dakota never met a stranger that wasn’t an instant friend and he could light up a room with his grin and laughter. Although we are devastated by the loss of Dakota, we take comfort in knowing that Dakota has found peace and is now celebrating in heaven with his grandfather, Richard “Dick” Parazoo, who preceded him in death.

“Don’t cry for me, I will be okay. Heaven is my home now, and this is where I’ll stay.”

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at 2 p.m. at North Umpqua Bible Fellowship, 1547 Wild River Drive, Roseburg, Oregon. Feel free to bring your favorite dessert or side dish.
