Michael Dale Johns passed away peacefully on March 2, 2018 at the age of 66 at Mercy Hospital in Roseburg, OR. Mike was born on November 7, 1951 in Grants Pass, OR to Dale and Jennene Johns. Mike grew up in Azalea, OR and graduated from Glendale High School. He went on to get an engineering degree from Oregon State University and worked for the city of Lebanon in the engineering department for a period of time.

He married Donna Phillips on September 5, 1974 in Reno, Nevada and they had two children, Chris and Amy. They lived in Myrtle Creek and he worked for Southern Oregon Skyline Logging running equipment. He later ran a small sawmill and took orders to cut lumber for customers. He and his son Chris would go up on the hill and skid logs down to the small mill for processing. They also cut fire wood for people for quite some time. He is survived by; wife Donna Johns, daughter Amy Hight & husband Bruce, his mother Jennene Johns, sister Pam Mosley & husband Mark, sister Patty Sayres & husband Richard. Mike was preceded in death by his father, Dale Johns and his son Christ Johns. Mike was a loving devoted husband, father and son. He will be missed dearly by many. Due to his wishes there will be no services.
