Robert (Bob) D. Erickson (73) passed away peacefully Tuesday, November 27th, 2018, at Mercy hospital.

Bob was born March 7, 1945, in Grand Rapids, MN, where he lived until he joined the Air Force.

During his time in the Air Force, he did a tour in Vietnam. Upon returning from Vietnam in 1966, he was stationed in Colorado, where he met Linda, his wife of over 50 years. They lived in Denver, where they had three children, Michelle, Mark and Lisa.

In 1978, Bob and family moved to Roseburg where he worked for Roseburg Forest Products for many years until becoming a real estate broker. Bob spent the last few years enjoying his retirement. He loved golfing with his friends at Roseburg Country Club, traveling especially to the coast, puttering around the house, grilling and cooking.

Bob is survived by his wife Linda Erickson; children, Michelle (Christ) Jensen, Mark (Sherri) Erickson, Lisa (Sam) Robertson; grandchildren, Taylor (Jeremy) Friton, Madison Bean, Dustin, Kevin and Sara Erickson; plus, other extended family.

He was preceded in death by his parents Walter F. and Dorothy A. (Kessler) Erickson, and brother, Arthur E. Erickson.

The family will hold a private ceremony prior to his interment at the Roseburg National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
