SUTHERLIN — Now that he’s in middle school, Tyler Cross said he’s looking forward to playing football and having a locker. “I’ve never had a locker,” he said. “You always dream about it.” Tyler eagerly stood at the head of a line of seventh-graders touring Sutherlin Middle School on the first day of school Tuesday morning. “I’m really happy, just excited for the new school year,” he said, grinning.
