George Coriaty sees himself in the protagonist of his book. “He would be my alter ego,” the 69-year-old Roseburg resident said. “I think, in truth, a lot of successful authors put themselves into their main character.” At the beginning of this year, Coriaty self-published a novel, “Doppelgänger: A Deadly Mirror Image,” fulfilling a teenage dream to be a writer.
