Tribe harriers look to move up

The Roseburg High cross country teams both hope to be stronger collectively this fall. Both squads finished sixth at the Southwest Conference district meet a year ago and 15th-year head coach Nathan Eckman believes the Indians can improve on those performances. “We’re stressing the team,” Eckman said. “Early in the season we’ll be training through some of these meets. We want to see them competing as a team, working as a unit.” Both teams opened their seasons today at the Yreka (Calif.)
