Short-handed Indians lose 5-1 at Southridge

BEAVERTON — The injury-plagued Roseburg girls soccer team remained winless on the season with a 5-1 nonleague loss to Southridge Saturday. Taylyn McNamara scored the lone goal for the Indians (0-3), converting in the 13th minute. Andie Giles scored twice for the Skyhawks (1-3), while Rachel Kramblaf, Makenna Bell and Dayna Carlson also scored. Roseburg coach Adam Blue singled out the efforts of Emily Roy at forward/defensive midfield and Rachael Warren and Chelsey Luiz on defense.
