Glide comes back again to clip Illinois Valley

CAVE JUNCTION — The Glide High football team continued one of its best starts in recent program history Friday. The Wildcats came from behind for the third time in four weeks, taking the lead with less than three minutes left to defeat Illinois Valley, 36-24, and seal a 4-0 start in nonleague play. With 3:30 remaining and Glide down 24-22, Brey Syverson came through with a sack to force a fumble and recovered it himself, giving the Wildcat’s possession on Illinois Valley’s 37.
