The Roseburg High girls soccer team made the most of a very small scoring window Saturday at Finlay Field. Claire Ibarra’s goal on a penalty kick was the difference in the Indians’ 1-0 win against South Medford, giving them a view from the top of the Southern Oregon Hybrid league with a 2-0 record. Sophomore forward Emily Roy was taken down in the box by a South defender in the 13th minute, setting up Ibarra’s score.
