MEDFORD — The Glide High girls soccer team earned a key District 4 win as Shelby Thompson scored with 10 minutes left to lift the Wildcats to a 2-1 win over Cascade Christian on Friday. The Wildcats improved to 7-1 overall and 2-1 in league play to take over second place by themselves. In the 70th minute, Caroline Brown passed to Kali Vickery, and Vickery was able to get a toe on the ball and tap it to an open Thompson at the far post.
