Triad wins scorefest with Elkton football team, 106-66

ELKTON — There was offense, offense and more offense on Friday at Saladen Field. Triad and Elkton engaged in an entertaining Skyline League eight-man game, combining for 172 points and over 1,300 yards of total offense. When it was over, the Timberwolves of Klamath Falls left with a 106-66 victory. Triad (5-1, 5-0 Skyline) kept pace with league-leading Camas Valley in the Special District 2 race. Elkton (3-3, 3-2) dropped its second straight league contest. “It was a crazy game ... a weird type of game,” said Elkton junior quarterback John Evoniuk, who passed for 254 yards and four touchdowns. …
