Indian Notebook: Roseburg has several reasons to feel alive

Their season hanging in the balance, the Roseburg Indians turned to Travis Dever. His wry smile remains as proof of last Friday’s antics in Gresham. Dever is a full-time, heavily-relied on junior linebacker who has gutted out most of the season while wearing a hard cast over his broken wrist. He is also a part-time placekicker, who took on the role midway through the season and is relied on only when absolutely necessary.
