The Roseburg High volleyball program, one of the most stable in the state, is officially under new direction for the first time in 20 years. With the hiring of Danielle Haskett, RHS Athletic Director Russ Bolin ensured the Indians would at least not stray far from the gameplan already in place. Haskett was named Bruce Myers’ successor as the Indians’ head coach Friday after serving under him in an assistant role for the last six years. Haskett, a 1989 graduate of RHS, is also the director of the Roseburg Volleyball Club. “Danielle was the logical choice for us,” Bolin said. …
