Haunted by late-game follies for the better part of a season, the Roseburg High boys basketball team again could not save itself from itself on Friday night. The cost, this time, was especially steep: The Indians were forced to watch coach Dennis Murphy and his ninth-ranked South Medford Panthers prance around the Robertson Memorial Gym floor and celebrate another league title.
