Prep Basketball: North Douglas girls beat Oakland

EUGENE — The North Douglas girls knocked off fifth-ranked Oakland for the first time in three tries this season on Saturday in the championship game of the Mountain View Conference tournament, winning 38-37 at Northwest Christian University. Savannah Mast scored 14 points — eight points coming from the free-throw line — for North Douglas (21-6), which led by 11 at one point. Bella Mast added 11 points.
