BAKER CITY — The Elkton boys basketball team has been known all year to wear down opponents with a vast array of weapons. It only took one weapon to bring the Elks down in Saturday’s OSAA Class 1A third-place game, however. Hosanna Christian’s Oliver Herting, a 6-foot-6 junior post, recorded 28 points, 11 rebounds and four assists and the Lions won 58-49 at Baker High School to make the Elks settle for fifth place.
