POINT LOOKOUT, Mo. — Southern Oregon University established a new program record for wins and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time since 2005 Wednesday when the 18th-ranked Raiders upset 14th-seeded Madonna 83-66 in a NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Tournament’s first-round game at Keeter Gymnasium. Southern Oregon improved to 25-9 this season, becoming the first Raider team to reach 25 wins. Madonna’s season came to an end with a 25-9 mark.
