Indians come away with clean sweeps

Two promising Roseburg High tennis teams have gotten off to two promising starts by doing exactly what was expected of them against inferior competition. The Indians won all 16 boys and girls matches against Thurston High on Thursday at the Umpqua Valley Tennis Center. Through two contests for each team, the Indians have won 31 of a combined 32 matches. Freshman Stefan Ball, who has stepped in as Roseburg’s No. 1 boys singles player, continued his hot start with a 6-0, 6-0 win over Treyson Sherk.
