SUTHERLIN — Following a successful basketball season, it didn’t take Sutherlin High senior Taler Jensen long to rediscover his baseball mindset. Jensen tossed five innings of two-hit ball and struck out nine as the Bulldogs got the best of a pitchers’ duel with Eagle Point on Wednesday, winning 2-1. Wryland McKnight shut the door with two innings of hitless work in relief for Sutherlin, which improved to 1-3.
