Boys Lacrosse: Roseburg boys top Marist in MWL opener

The Roseburg High boys lacrosse team found out Thursday that it still has plenty of room for improvement. At least the Indians discovered as much in a winning effort, though. After falling behind 3-1 to Marist in the second quarter, the Indians closed the half with three unanswered goals and closed the door with a big third, winning their Midwestern League opener 10-4 at Finlay Field. Senior attack Jake Heverly poured in a game-high six goals, four of which were delivered consecutively in the third quarter to help Roseburg run away.
