MYRTLE CREEK — Jace Catlin of Toledo had the only official bull ride and won the title Sunday as the 35th annual South Douglas Rodeo concluded at the Tri-City Horsemen’s Arena.

Catlin received a score of 82 points after riding a bull named Cosmos Cowboy for the required eight seconds. He took home a check of $436.95.

Kyle Bounds of Harrisburg overtook first-day leader Brent Bannon of Prineville, winning the bareback riding championship aboard Eor with a score of 83 points.

Other event winners included Olivia Train of Myrtle Point in women’s barrel racing (17.67 seconds), Bailey Beall of Redmond in breakaway roping (2.00), Brian Thompson of Yoncalla in cow milking (17.20), Joe Scott Jr. of Madras in saddle bronc riding (60 points), Bryan Barker of Redmond in steer wrestling (11.90), Dale Benevides of Touchet, Wash., and Buck McCay of Eugene in team roping (5.10), and Chad Crume of Grants Pass in tie-down roping (14.00).

Howell Rodeo Company supplied the stock and Wayne White of Creswell called the action.
