ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — University of Nevada sophomore Cora Gallop finished 48th in the women's 6,000-meter race at the Mountain West Conference cross country championships on Oct. 27.

Gallop, an Oakland High School product, covered the course in 22 minutes, 28.42 seconds. Ednah Kurgat won the race in 19:58.77.

The Wolf Pack finished sixth in the team standings with 145 points.

Nevada will compete in the NCAA Mountain Regional on Nov. 10 in Logan, Utah.
