ALBANY — Three former Douglas County high school volleyball players are contributing for the Linn-Benton Community College Roadrunners this fall.

Ellie Weber (Roseburg), McKya Filley (Glide) and Sierra Mauro (Glide) are all freshmen for No. 3-ranked LBCC (28-8, 9-2), which is tied with No. 4 Clark (29-5, 9-2) for second place in the Southern Region standings. No. 2 Chemeketa (22-4, 10-1) leads the league.

Sabrina MacDowell (North Douglas) is redshirting this season.

The Roadrunners will play at Umpqua (11-23, 2-9) Friday, starting at 6:30 p.m. LBCC visits Southwestern Oregon (7-20, 0-11) Saturday, beginning at 1 p.m.
