SUSANVILLE, Calif. — Umpqua Community College's men's wrestling team went 2-2 at the Lassen Invitational on Oct. 28 at Lassen Community College.

The Riverhawks defeated Lassen CC 27-12 and Simpson College 27-6, but fell 42-10 to Eastern Oregon University and 45-11 to Sacramento City College.

Umpqua spotted opponents 18 points as it had to forfeit the 125, 133 and 141 weight classes for various reasons.

Kobe Olson defeated EOU's Kaleb Ballard 9-0 by major decision in the 149-pound weight class. Umpqua's Ian Thomas won the 165-pound match with a 6-1 decision and Levi Summers won the 184 pound match on an 8-4 decision.

Thomas got a 16-0 technical fall win over Sacramento City College at 165.
