COOS BAY — Southwestern Oregon defeated Umpqua in four sets in a Northwest Athletic Conference Southern Region volleyball match on Wednesday night in the season finale for both teams.

Set scores were 25-19, 25-27, 25-20, 25-18.

Brooke Fisher finished with 12 kills for the Lakers (14-22, 2-11 South). Baley VanWormer added 10 kills, Sydney Colledge had 44 assists, Alexus Paglinawan made 28 digs, and Andria Santoyo contributed 10 kills and 21 digs for SWOCC.

McKenna Wilson, a former Coquille High standout, had 13 kills and 21 digs for the Riverhawks (12-20, 4-10), who finished sixth in the league after dropping seven of their last eight matches.

South Umpqua product Emma Lind chipped in 11 kills and 16 digs, Madison Becker had 34 assists and 11 digs, Amiyah Shakoor had eight kills, Shayla Limatoc made 17 digs and Brianna Settle contributed 13 digs for UCC.

Linn-Benton (29-10, 13-1) won the league championship, Chemeketa (19-16, 10-4) was second and Lane (19-17, 9-5) third.
