CENTRALIA, Wash. — Umpqua Community College’s women’s basketball team battled back from an eight-point deficit at halftime to defeat Centralia 72-64 in Friday’s game at the Centralia Tournament.

Grace Campbell and Taylor Stricklin had 20 points each for the Riverhawks (5-0). Darian Mitchell had 17 points and 15 rebounds for UCC. Eleven of her rebounds were defensive.

Centralia (2-4) was led by Caitlin Yenne with 24 points.
