DIXONVILLE — Days Creek rebounded from an opening-set loss and defeated Elkton in a Skyline League volleyball second-place playoff match Monday at Umpqua Valley Christian.

Set scores were 22-25, 25-19, 25-15, 25-19.

Elkton (12-5) got 13 kills from Hannah Maxwell. Victoria LaChapelle chipped in 17 digs, Bralynn Standley six aces and Grace Whitley 26 assists.

"That was probably the best match of Carlie Dossman's career," said D.C. coach Ron Dunn.
