SUTHERLIN — A study by Golf Digest back in 2000 says an amateur golfer has about a 67 million to 1 chance of hitting two holes-in-one during the same round. Well, it happened at Umpqua Golf Resort on Tuesday. The fortunate golfer was 80-year-old Earnie Briggs of Roseburg, who scored a pair of aces over a span of three holes during an 18-hole round he’ll never forget.
