BROOKINGS — Douglas was outscored 10-3 in overtime and dropped a 58-51 decision to Brookings Friday in the Far West League boys basketball opener for both teams.

Austin Fronckowiak and Brig Schofield each scored 13 points for the Bruins (7-8, 1-0 FWL). Quinden Parson led the Trojans (5-9, 0-1) with 13 points, while Damon Landry and Max Jung contributed nine apiece.
