DAYS CREEK — The Days Creek boys basketball team limited Elkton to seven points in the second half and finished with a 56-32 Skyline League North victory Saturday night.

Caleb Kruzic scored 17 points for the Wolves (9-6, 4-1 North), who moved into a tie for first place with North Douglas. Kruzic hit five 3-point field goals. Anthony Muir had 11 points and seven deflections for D.C., and Josh Whetzel chipped in nine points.

Brad Doudna scored all 17 of his points for the Elks (6-10, 2-3) in the first half.

"Defensively, we tightened up in the second half and did a much better job of keeping Doudna off the boards," said Days Creek coach James Ellis. "We executed very well offensively."
