WINSTON — Marshfield's Grants combined for 40 points and the second-ranked Pirates defeated Douglas 73-60 in Tuesday's Far West League boys basketball game.

Grant Woolsey hit four 3-pointers and scored a game-high 21 points for Marshfield (17-6, 9-0 FWL), while Grant Webster added 19. Corey Stover had 14 and Jordy Miles chipped in 12 for MHS.

Douglas (8-14, 3-6) was led by Quinden Parson with 15 points. The Trojans had a hard time scoring inside; 11 of their 18 fields goals were from beyond the 3-point arc. Dillon Couey scored 12 points and Damon Landry added 11.

The Trojans will host North Bend on Friday in their season-finale.
