KLAMATH FALLS — Camas Valley football coach Eli Wolfe summed up Saturday's 28-14 nonleague loss to Triad.

"We were off, we didn't play very well," he said. "We didn't execute well."

Eli Builta led the Timberwolves (3-0) with two touchdown runs, one scoring pass and stripped a Camas Valley ballcarrier and returned it 47 yards for a TD.

Bryson Wolfe scored both TDs for the Hornets (2-1), catching a 65-yard pass from Ryland Brown in the second quarter and making a 75-yard run in the third period.

Bryson Wolfe finished with 107 yards rushing on 12 carries and caught five balls for 95 yards. Ryan Weickum added 43 yards rushing and had five receptions for 62 yards. Brown was 11 of 28 passing for 154 yards with two interceptions.

The Hornets held a big edge in offensive plays (71-50) and time of possession (37:06-11:06), but turned the ball over four times and committed nine penalties for 85 yards.

C.V. hosts Elkton next Saturday in its Special District 2 West opener.
