DRAIN — The North Douglas girls basketball team continues to dominate the Skyline League.

The fifth-ranked Warriors improved to 5-0 in the Skyline North and 15-2 overall with a 76-9 rout of Pacific Saturday.

Sophomore guard Sofia Alcantar scored 16 points for North Douglas, which led 45-5 at halftime. Sophomores Natalie Draeger and Hope Morgan each added 10 points, and Payton Black chipped in nine. Abby Whipple contributed five points, six rebounds, six steals and five assists.

All 12 Warriors scored in the contest. North outrebounded Pacific, 46-20.

Claire Kelly was the top scorer for the Pirates (6-10, 3-2 South).

North Douglas will meet its toughest league challengers next weekend, visiting Elkton Friday and traveling to Days Creek Saturday.
