DRAIN — The North Douglas volleyball team picked up a pair of nonleague victories over Perrydale and Trinity Lutheran on Saturday.

The Warriors (15-4) defeated Perrydale 21-25, 25-8, 25-23, 25-13. They later downed Trinity Lutheran 25-13, 25-12, 25-12.

"We came out flat in the first set (against Perrydale), but cleaned up our errors and played more consistent volleyball," said N.D. coach Anne Campbell.

Arianna Helgren had 14 kills and 11 digs for North Douglas in the Perrydale match. Natalie Draeger added seven aces and 11 digs, and Lilly Downie contributed 17 digs.

Abby Whipple had five kills, eight digs and 11 aces for North versus Trinity. Draeger chipped in five kills and 12 digs, while Amy Dooley contributed 18 assists and three aces.

The Warriors travel to Yoncalla Tuesday for a Skyline League North match.
