Parker Patterson and Johnathan Warner of South Umpqua will play for the South team in the 39th annual Oregon Class 4A All-Star Baseball Series, which will be held Father’s Day weekend at Bill Gray Stadium at Legion Field.

The series features the top graduated seniors in 4A.

A single nine-inning game is scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday. A pair of seven-inning contests are set for Sunday, beginning at noon.

Patterson was selected as an infielder, while Warner was among the outfielders picked. Both received all-Far West League first team honors.

Parker McKinley of La Grande and Brad Horning of North Bend will serve as the coaches of the South. Casey Webster of Gladstone and Randy Brack of North Marion are the coaches of the North.
