GLIDE — Cascade Christian defeated Glide's baseball team 8-2 in Friday's nonleague game at Sewell Field.

The Wildcats (3-10, 1-4 Mountain Valley Conference) scored in the last inning as Caleb Alexander and Austin Thingvall crossed the plate. Cayden Kangiser and Austin Anderson had hits.

"Zach Holland had a pretty good day behind the plate," Glide coach Joe Leischner said. "He's probably our most consistent player."

Kangiser threw 84 pitches over five innings before being relieved by Alexander.

Glide is scheduled to host La Pine at 4:30 p.m. Monday in a league contest.
