MOLALLA — Elkton fell 53-45 to Country Christian in a boys basketball game Friday at the Cougar Classic.

Howie Long led Country Christian (2-2) with 18 points. Mark Grandle and Drew Halverson scored 10 points apiece for the Cougars.

Elkton (1-4) was led by Austin Luzier with 15 points and seven rebounds, and Mason Cox with 11 points and nine rebounds.

The Elks will play Crosshill Christian on Saturday.
